Step 3: Recover backup image
How to recover the backup image to a Backup Card
Before you start, have your Backup Card ready.
1) Open the Settings tab and tap the More (⋮) button.
2) Select "Recover Card".
3) Tap "Start Recovery".
4) Hold the Backup Card against the back of your phone to scan it. 5) The message "Recovery available card" appears, along with the number of recovery attempts remaining. Tap "Confirm" to continue.
The recovery attempt count is the number of times you can try entering the encryption password for the backup image. You have up to 10 attempts in total.
6) Tap "Load" to paste in the encrypted backup image data, then tap "Next".
7) Enter the encryption password you used when creating the backup image, then tap "Next".
8) Enter the card PIN of your Backup Card.
9) Hold the Backup Card against the back of your phone to scan it.
10) When the message "Backup image recovery completed" appears, tap "Close" to finish.
How to verify that the Backup Card was successfully recovered
1) Open the Settings tab and tap the More (⋮) button.
2) Select "Scan New Card".
3) Hold the Backup Card against the back of your phone to scan it. 4) If the message "This card is a backup card" is shown, the recovery was successful. Make sure the wallet address shown on the screen matches the address printed on your original All-in-One Wallet.
