How to use PancakeSwap
This guide is based on DCENT Mobile App v10.0.0.
This guide explains how to use PancakeSwap, a DeFi service built on BNB Smart Chain (BSC). The DCENT Wallet DApp browser (Discovery tab) supports BNB Smart Chain, so you can use PancakeSwap directly inside DCENT.
Discovery is a browser feature for using blockchain-based decentralized apps (DApps). DApp services (including PancakeSwap) are not operated by DCENT — please contact each DApp's operator for service-related inquiries. Using DApps carries a risk of financial loss, and you are solely responsible for any risks that may occur.
Create a BNB Smart Chain account
If you do not have a BSC account yet, create a BNB Smart Chain (Binance Smart Chain) account first.
1) In the My Wallet tab, tap the Add account (+) button next to the search bar.
2) Enter bsc in the search bar and select Binance Smart Chain (BNB).
3) Follow the on-screen steps to add the account. Your BSC account then appears in the My Wallet tab.
Switch the DApp browser network to BNB Smart Chain
To use DApps built on BNB Smart Chain, switch the DApp browser network to BNB Smart Chain.
1) Tap the network (🌐) icon at the top right of the "Discovery" tab.
2) On the "Select account" screen, select your BNB Smart Chain account (e.g., BNB-01) under "My account".
3) The icon at the top right changes to the BNB Smart Chain icon.
Open the PancakeSwap site
1) Enter the PancakeSwap URL (https://pancakeswap.finance/) in the search bar at the top of the "Discovery" tab.
2) The PancakeSwap site opens. If you use it often, tap the More (⋮) button at the bottom.
3) Select "Add to favorites" to add it to "Favorite" in the "Discovery" tab.
Connect your wallet
Connect your DCENT Wallet to PancakeSwap using WalletConnect.
1) Tap "Connect" at the top right of the PancakeSwap site.
2) On the "Connect Wallet" screen, tap "More Wallets".
3) Select "WalletConnect" from the "MORE WALLETS" list.
4) On the "All Wallets" screen, enter "dcent" in the search bar and select "DCENT".
5) On the "Wallet Connect" connection request screen, check that the Connected Account is your BNB Smart Chain account (e.g., BNB-01), then tap "Connect".
(If you have several EVM-based accounts, accounts with the same address may be connected together. Tap Connected Account to choose the account to connect.)
6) Once your wallet address appears at the top right of the PancakeSwap site, the connection is complete.
