Which one should I choose between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Segwit when sending Bitcoin from an exchange?
Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Segwit (BTC Segwit) addresses are mutually compatible.
You can send BTC from an exchange or wallet to either address format, and the transaction will process correctly.

- BTC addresses typically start with "1"
- BTC Segwit addresses typically start with "bc1q"
Depending on which address was used during the transfer, the received BTC will appear in the corresponding account in the D'CENT app.
Example: If you sent BTC from an exchange to your BTC (starts with "1") address
→ The balance will show up in the BTC account, not the BTC Segwit account.
