Will the tokens I hold be automatically updated if the smart contract is changed?
D'CENT Wallet is a non-custodial wallet, meaning you are fully responsible for managing your own assets.
Therefore, if the smart contract of a token changes, it will not be automatically updated in the D'CENT Wallet.
[What to Know About Smart Contract Changes]
- Token migrations and smart contract changes occur frequently across the blockchain ecosystem
- It is not feasible for D'CENT to track and update all changes in real time
- You must check with the official channels of the token project to confirm whether a contract has been updated
[What If a Smart Contract Change Has Been Confirmed?]
If you have confirmed that a token’s smart contract has changed, you can submit a request to D'CENT through the Coin Addtion Request Form:
Go to Coin Addition Request Form page
[D'CENT’s Update Policy and Schedule]
- All submitted tokens go through internal testing to verify that they function properly
- If validated, the updated token will be included in the next D'CENT Wallet update
- Smart contract changes are reviewed and applied every Tuesday on a weekly basis
- Update schedules may vary depending on testing results and project-specific conditions
