How to connect with MetaMask?

DCENT Wallet supports MetaMask integration via a QR-based protocol, allowing you to connect the EVM accounts in your DCENT Wallet to MetaMask.

[Supported Wallets]​

  • DCENT X, Biometric Wallet, DCENT S, and App Wallet
  • The All-in-One Card Wallet is not supported.

[Minimum Supported Versions]​

  • DCENT Biometric Wallet firmware version v2.19.7 or higher
  • DCENT Mobile App: Android v5.16.1 or iOS v5.16.2 or higher

[How to Connect]​

  1. Open the DCENT App, go to the [Discovery] tab, select [Metamask Integration], tick the consent checkbox, and tap [Go to Service]
  2. On the [MetaMask QR Connect] screen, check the QR code of the EVM account to connect (tap [Change Account] to choose another account)
  3. In MetaMask on your PC, click the account name > [Add wallet] > [Connect a hardware wallet] > [Other QR wallet]
  4. Scan the QR code shown in the DCENT App with your PC camera, select the first account, and click [Unlock]
  5. Your DCENT Wallet account is connected as "QR Account 1"

[Notes]​

  • If your hardware wallet is not connected, a connection request appears. For DCENT X, tap Allow on the device screen.
  • For DCENT S, tap [Scan card], enter your PIN, and hold the card to the back of your phone to create the QR code.
  • Only EVM-based accounts (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon, Kaia, etc.) are supported.
  • The MetaMask mobile app does not support QR-based connection.
  • Your PC must have a camera to scan the QR code.
