What happens if I enter the wrong PIN several times?

The DCENT S PIN can be entered up to 10 times.

You are asked to enter your PIN in the following situations:

  1. When changing your current PIN to a new one
  2. When signing a transaction (e.g., sending coins)

  • Entering it incorrectly 10 or more times may reset the card.
  • The R3covery Card PIN is also limited to 10 attempts; entering it incorrectly 10 or more times will reset the R3covery Card.
  • If it is reset, you must recover your assets with your backed-up R3covery card or 24-word mnemonic (recovery phrase), so be sure to keep a backup and remember your PIN.
