How long does the battery last? How do I charge it?

DCENT X runs on a built-in battery and is charged with a USB Type-C cable.

[Battery life]

  • On a full charge you can perform 150 or more transactions under normal use.
  • One transaction means powering the device on → signing one transaction → powering it off.
  • Battery performance can degrade depending on how long it has been used, the number of charge/discharge cycles and storage conditions, so the actual number of transactions may vary with your usage environment.

[Battery specifications]

  • Battery type : Li-ion Polymer Battery
  • Capacity : 530mAh
  • Rated voltage : 3.7V
  • Charging input rating : DC 5V, 0.5A
  • Full charge time : about 2 hours

[Notes]

  • A firmware update starts only when both the DCENT X battery is at 20% or higher and the phone battery is at 15% or higher. If either one is too low, the update will not proceed.
  • We recommend running the update with both the device and the phone charged.
  • Shortening the Auto Power Off time under Settings > System Settings > Power Management reduces battery consumption. (default: 3 minutes)
