DCENT X will not turn on.

If DCENT X does not turn on, please work through the steps below.

[Check whether the battery is charged]​

  • If the battery is fully drained, the screen will not come on even when you press the power button.
  • Connect the charging cable, charge it enough, and then try again.

[Try a hardware reset]​

  1. Press and hold the fingerprint sensor button on the right side of the device for at least 10 seconds.
  2. Press the fingerprint sensor button again and the device will boot.

A hardware reset does not delete your wallet information or settings.

[If none of the above helps]​

Please record a video of the symptom and of you trying the hardware reset. If a product defect is confirmed, we will exchange the device according to the criteria below.

[DCENT X warranty period]​

  • 1 year from the date of purchase

[Exchange conditions and notes]​

  • If a defect that is not caused by the customer is confirmed, we exchange the product free of charge.
  • If the damage was caused by the customer, or the warranty period has expired, a fee may apply.
