The firmware update does not start.
DCENT X firmware is sent over Bluetooth through the mobile app - no PC or cable is required. Please check the symptom below.
[What to do, by symptom]
- The device shows a low battery message : the DCENT X battery is below 20%. Connect the charger, charge it enough, and try again.
- Your phone battery is low : if the phone battery is below 15%, the update will not start. Charge your phone and try again.
- The app cannot find the device : Bluetooth is disconnected. Check the Bluetooth status in the Control Center and connect again.
- There is no New badge on Firmware Update in the app : you are already on the latest version, so there is nothing to update.
[How to check for updates]
- On the device : tap Settings > Device Info > Firmware Update to see whether you are on the latest version.
- In the app : tap the ⋮ to the right of the connected DCENT X name at the top of the Settings tab → “Firmware Update”
