Can I create multiple accounts (addresses) for the same coin in a single D’CENT Wallet?
If you are using a Biometric Wallet or App Wallet, you can create multiple accounts (addresses) for the same coin.
However, there are certain conditions regarding the number of accounts and the order in which they can be created.
[Account (Address) Limit]
Each D’CENT Wallet (Biometric Wallet or App Wallet) supports up to 80 accounts that can be created and managed.
You can also create multiple accounts for the same coin.
(Example: 40 Bitcoin accounts, 20 Ethereum accounts, 20 XRP accounts)
[Conditions for Creating Multiple Accounts]
Multiple accounts must be created sequentially.
A new account can only be created after the previously created account has received coins at least once.
Examples:
- If ETH‑01 has a record of receiving coins → ETH‑02 can be created
- If ETH‑02 also has a record of receiving coins → ETH‑03 can be created
※ If there is an account that has never received any coins (balance 0, no transaction history), you may see the message:
"Already have an unused account", and the creation of a new account may be restricted.
So, if you want to use multiple accounts for the same coin, please make sure the previously created account (e.g., BTC‑01, ETH‑01) has received coins at least once before creating the next account (e.g., BTC‑02, ETH‑02).
