I Lost My All-in-One Card Wallet
This article explains what actions you can take if you lose your All‑in‑One Card Wallet, and the difference between cases where you have kept your backup image and cases where you have not.
Please make sure to check whether you have safely stored the backup image of your All‑in‑One Card Wallet.
If you have securely kept your backup image, you can restore your wallet using a Backup Card.
[How the All‑in‑One Card Wallet Backup Works]
- D’CENT All‑in‑One Card Wallet does not use recovery words (mnemonic code).
Instead, wallet information is backed up and restored using a backup image. - Therefore, after completing the initial wallet setup, you must use the [Back Up] feature in the D’CENT app to generate a backup image and store it safely.
[If You Have the Backup Image]
- If you purchased a Backup Card together with your All‑in‑One Card Wallet, or separately from the official D’CENT store, you can restore your wallet using that Backup Card.
- Once the backup image restoration is complete, you can transfer your assets even without the original All‑in‑One Card Wallet.
- Please refer to the user guide below for detailed instructions on how to restore your wallet.
[If You Did Not Back Up or Did Not Keep the Backup Image]
- If you did not create a backup or did not keep the generated backup image, wallet recovery is not possible.
- Even if your assets are visible in the D’CENT app, you cannot transfer them without either the All‑in‑One Card Wallet or a Backup Card.
- D’CENT is a non‑custodial wallet, which means the company does not store your private keys or wallet information on its servers.
- For this reason, D’CENT cannot recover assets from a lost card wallet on your behalf.
